Sermon Series:

I Believe - Pt. 4 (Apostles' Creed - The Holy Spirit, and All That Other Stuff)

This week we continue a series on the Apostles' Creed. Although it was not written by the Apostles, it contains a distilled set of facts consistent with the Apostles' teaching.

This week we look at the third article, "[I believe] in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen!"

The third article, at first glance, contains all the other things we couldn't fit into the other two articles. But as we work our way through it, we find that these things are intricately related...and connected! We hope you'll join us as we walk through this list of ideas that is both present and future reality.

This is the final message of this series (yes, we know it should have broadcasted on Christmas Day, but be honest: how many of you would have watched it then?) This week we look at the Father's Song. As Pastor Ralph Williams points out, it's not really a song; however it seems like it should be included in Luke's unfolding commentary on Who Jesus is.

This year Christmas Eve is also the fourth Sunday of Advent! This week's message focuses on Simeon and Anna, two "senior adults" who bring experience and life situations with them into the Temple. Pastor Ralph Williams shows how Simeon's Song is a powerful reminder that God is a Keeper of Promises, and He has not forgotten the promises He made to His people!

Everyone loves a Christmas Carol! This week we turn our attention to the song of the Angels and the Shepherds' response to it. In many ways this is the point where the songs of Mary and Zechariah come to life -- the place where real people in real life begin to experience the joining of the heavens above and the earth below!

This week continues the Advent Season. This year Pastor Ralph Williams is leading us through a Christmas Carol series, and who doesn't like a Christmas Carol, right? We hope you'll join us for this fun, yet in-depth look at some of the original Christmas songs as sung by the original singers.
